The Anime version of Gon will be posponed for at least half more year.
The delay is because Daewon Media (the Korean animation studio), who bought the rights to produce the 3d version of Gon, just recently signed the contract at the beggining of 2011. The movie was originally due for release in 2009, and was appointed to be directed by Motonori Sakakibara (co-director of Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within).
Gon is a tiny orange dinosaur with a huge attitude, who survived the extinction and travels the earth many years after the dinosaurs age, looking for its own kind. An interesting fact is that the author decided not to include any dialogue (as in the manga version) to keep the realism in the interaction between animals and Gon, exploiting his incredible talent to give animals human expressions.
